About Me

Therapy offers support in many situations - from life-changing events or chronic illnesses, right the way through to wanting to make a positive change to your life and not knowing where to start. I provide outdoor therapy in Staffordshire and can work with you to move forward, blending psychological strategies with the benefits of nature.

As a specialist in providing therapy outdoors, I offer walk-and-talk sessions as an alternative to the traditional indoor approach. Many clients find it easier to open up and discuss difficult subjects in the outdoors as we walk. I use various psychological therapies to offer a tailored service to meet your individual needs. I can help you to better understand yourself, your relationships, and how you experience and respond to the world around you.

I have 20+ years of experience as a Chartered Psychologist and have worked in both the private and public sector (NHS/Civil Service). I specialise in coaching psychology as I have a strong desire to empower people; help them find their purpose; maximise their potential and deal with change.

I am an Associate Fellow, Chartered Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society and as a HCPC Practitioner Psychologist. I use many types of psychological therapy such as solution-focused therapy / cognitive behavioural therapy / compassion-focused therapy/mindfulness /acceptance commitment therapy) in my work. I provide a safe confidential space to allow you to explore your feelings and/or situation.

I have helped people with a range of difficulties including:

Depression                                         Anxiety

Stress                                                 Chronic pain

Brain Injury                                        Chronic illness

Return to work                                  Career Progression

Loss of purpose and identity            Lack of quality of life

Self-confidence                                 Bullying and harassment

Choosing a therapist can be overwhelming. It is important that you find the right one for you. I offer a free telephone session so that we can discuss your issues and find out if the services I offer will be right for you. There is never any pressure in this session to book. If you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
